weekly update

Friday 28  June 

Hello everyone,

This week in winter sport we versed St Francis of Assisi and I was right winger. I made some tackles and I almost scored a try. We tied 4-4.

We won pizza for lunch on Monday because our class brought our spellathon lists and money in before all the other classes. 

I also got picked to paint a eel model next Friday.

This morning we had a welcome ceremony and it was freezing outside. Here's some photos.

 This week I have enjoyed our new inquiry.  Jay and I are making sushi and will make 142 dollars if we sell everything.  We are going to make a stand and will have made sushi to sell.  We have made a logo and have done our plan.

To make sushi, Jay and I are going buy seaweed and will buy rice chicken and soy sauce.
We will water the seaweed and put rice on the seaweed and we will put chicken in the rice and wrap it up and put it in gladwrap.




       

   

Weekly update

Hello everyone,

This week in winter sport in the first game we versed ST Martins and our team won 4-0 and most of our tries were full field.  I obviously play rugby!
I ripped the ball out of someone's hands.
In our second game we versed Addington and I almost saved a try.
It was 4-4 and it was last play and we were right near the try line and Stanley scored and we won 5-4.
   
During RE we have been learning about the major events in Mary's life.

Friday 17 May

Hello everyone,

Yesterday we had winter sports and I played rugby.

I set up a few tries and in the first game William scored 4 tries and William scored 2 tries in the second game.

Ollie scored 2 tries in the first game and he got 3 full field tries in the second game and one was an intercept.

Robby got one try, James got one try, Liam got one try, Oscar one try.

We won both games in our first game we versed West Spreydon in our first game

and in our second game we versed St Francis of Assisi.  

 

 

 

Catholic Sports tournament

Weekly update.
Good afternoon everyone,
on Thursday we did a Catholic sports tournament we got to chose what sport we got to play,
out of football/soccer netball riper rugby and hockey.
I scored lots of goals in football/soccer.
On our first game of soccer we had a bye.

End of the year reflection

Friday 12  April 

Hi everyone,
The highlights of the term for me were cycle safety and Korfball.
Cycle safety was fun because we were learning the road rules, and on the first day we practised the road rules with cones on the concrete.
On the last day of cycle safety we did cycle safety on the road.

Korfball was fun too. On the first day of Korfball we learnt the rules. There are only 4 players per team in Korfball. Boys can only mark boys and girls can only mark girls.  On the last day of Korfball we had a fun day with everyone playing at the same time.
I liked this term alot.

 I am looking ford to winter sport next term.

Caritas refugee day

Friday 5 April

Hello everyone,
Yesterday we did a refugee day.
We ate rice with our hands for lunch and we made houses out of cardboard.
It was hard to made the houses out of cardboard because it kept falling over and we had to move next to a tree.   
The highlight from me was making the houses out of cardboard.
